Abyssal Lights makes handcrafted resin ocean-wave night lights right here in Singapore — cast fresh for every order, obsessively finished, and designed to be the calmest glow in your room.
It started with a fascination for the deep.
Late nights, an empty desk corner, a need for something calming to look at. Everything in stores was either a plain plastic lamp or a mass-produced trinket with no soul. I wanted a light that felt like a window into the ocean.
Coming from a love of resin art and marine life, I started experimenting with layering clear epoxy to trap a figure mid-scene — a diver descending, a whale breaching, a shark gliding past a sunken wreck — inside a wave-shaped block of resin.
The first one was a small diver piece, poured on a kitchen table. Friends asked where they could get one. Then friends of friends. Abyssal Lights was born out of a simple idea: the most captivating night light is one cast with intention, not stamped out by the thousands.
Every order cast fresh.
There are no warehouses. No stock on shelves. When you order, your piece goes straight into resin — hand-poured in layers, with the figure carefully positioned before the wave sets clear.
Each block is sanded, polished, and mounted onto a solid wood base fitted with a warm-white LED. Every unit is powered on and checked before it ships. If the glow doesn't feel exactly right, it gets recast — full stop.
This on-demand approach means zero overproduction, zero waste, and every piece slightly one-of-a-kind. You're not picking from leftover stock. You're getting something cast for you.
